About Me

What can I tell you that isn't already in my resume?

I play violin, viola, and a smattering of other instruments ranging from three different kinds of recorder to piano. This is with varying degrees of success and skill.

I consider myself an eccentric-in-training. You know, one of those old people who always have interesting stories and have weird skills (except I'm not that old).

Up until I was 21, I was fully intending on being a professional musician. I am now interested in design (print, web, and instructional) and just about anything having to do with computers. Talk about an abrupt right-turn!

Unlike many other people, I enjoy research. I keep notebooks of items that interest me and lists of books I hope to read soon.

I have six library cards currently in use, as well as a few that I don't use anymore.

I currently own, incessantly use, and absolutely love a Honda Metropolitan scooter.

And just lately, I've been interested in Second Life. It's a wonderful combination of everything that interests me (3D, texturing, modeling, building, sharing with others, etc).
